10U Boys County Cup Burnham-On-Sea Group E
A wonderful weekend for the boys with glorious weather.
There were 6 counties in our group with Devon and Somerset in our half of the table. Our 1st match against Devon was close as ever! After tying 3-3, had to go into a shoot out which the boys won 11-9 in the tie break.
We then played Somerset the next day and won 6-0 which took us to the final against Avon.
The boys started very well and got the job in hand done and took the win by 5-1. A fantastic weekend and we are all looking forward to completing in the national finals in 3 weeks time at Bath. Well done to all the boys!

10U Girls County Cup Taunton Group E
The girls showed fantastic spirit all weekend to finish second in a group consisting of Avon, Cornwall, Devon, and Somerset.
Wiltshire started the Saturday with a flying 4-2-win vs Cornwall, winning three of our singles and 1 of our doubles rubbers. Wiltshire followed this up with a great team effort resulting in a 5-1-win vs Somerset.
With it all still to play for on the second Day Wiltshire battled hard against Devon taking all 4 singles rubbers to second set tiebreaks. We managed to win all four tiebreaks to take and early 4-0 lead into the doubles rubbers in the afternoon, which after long hard-fought matches Devon came out on top.
Wiltshire finished the Sunday against a strong Avon side. Avon proved too strong and quick both mentally and physically and won faultlessly 6-0 vs Wiltshire. Our girls showed fantastic courage and spirit throughout the weekend and were deserving runners up in the group. With a fantastic group of girls within the age group we look forward to many more county cups in years to come. Well done to all the girls #WiltshireWarriors
