Coach Bursary Scheme
We are delighted to announce details of the NEW Wiltshire Tennis Coach Bursary Scheme.
Wiltshire Tennis is committed to growing and diversifying our coach workforce to help us achieve our aspiration to ‘open up’ and increase tennis participation across the county. The scheme is available to any individual meeting the criteria. Applications will be assessed on individual merit, however, we would particularly welcome applications from:
The County are working in partnership with the LTA and UCoach (Coach Development Centre), who are supporting this scheme with grant funding.
Applicants must be a resident in Wiltshire and/or will be using their qualification within the county at a venue, school or local authority programme in Wiltshire and are over 16 years of age at the commencement of the course.

Please note whilst the above covers LTA Level 1, 2 and 3 qualifications, there are inclusion grants available for individuals wanting to do an LTA Level 4, 5 and Certificate in Tutoring Qualifications (CTQ) as well as funding for mentoring.

Coach Mentoring Scheme
This NEW Coach Mentoring scheme is available to any Accredited Coach working at an LTA Registered Venue in Wiltshire, who wishes to develop their skills, knowledge and work towards achieving their set goals.
Wiltshire Tennis is committed to supporting and developing our current coach workforce to help us achieve our aspiration to ‘open up’ and increase tennis participation across Wiltshire.
Wiltshire Tennis aim to support coaches with a range of interventions and grants to enable them to access both formal and informal mentoring opportunities.

LTA Youth Schools
SCHOOLS
LTA Youth Schools is a free programme for all schools! It has been designed specifically for schools to support the curriculum and wider school outcomes, and brings together inclusive PE lesson plans, personal development resources, teacher training and much more. It’s all been designed by teachers, for teachers.

Coaches looking to establish links with their local schools and grow their programme through schools can access a range of resources on the Coach Secure Area.
