Marlborough Tennis club was the setting for the 2025 Wiltshire Adult County Championships.
Nestled in an Area of Outstanding National Beauty the cascading courts were a buzz with players and spectators.
Saturday morning saw the start of the Mens Open with 14 players kicking off with the 1st round plus the excitement of the mens doubles in the afternoon. Though the skies were grey, it was warm with some light rain which didn’t stop play and all matches concluded in the spirit of the game.
Sunday was a completely different day with clear blue skies and a despite a nip in the air we had the warmth of the sun through the day allowing for the conclusion of the Mens Open plus the Mens 35+ Singles and Doubles plus the Mixed Adults.
Thank you to Andrew and the team at Marlborough TC for making us feel so welcome and for the amazing sausage rolls! Thank you to Avon Trophies for the medals and most of all to all the players who entered this year – we look forward to seeing you all next year.
Men’s Singles
After a number of epic matches on the Saturday – Sunday saw the conclusion of the Wiltshire Mens County Championship Final and Congratulations to Harry our 2025 Winner and Jayden our runner up.
The medals and prizes were presented by Liz Bissett our Wiltshire LTA Councillor.

Mens Doubles
Saturday saw the Wiltshire 2025 Mens Doubles event and with some great players entered it was anyones for the taking.

The medals and trophy was presented by Roger Henry our Chairman of the Wiltshire Tennis Committee.

Sunday was the Mens 35+ event and with a healthy draw our players took to the court.
