Captains – Lewis Fletcher / Neil Little
It was a full-on afternoon of tennis action at the U8 County Cup in Southampton, with teams from Wiltshire, Hampshire & IOW, Avon, and Berkshire competing. Both our boys and girls arrived full of smiles, excitement, and ready to play. It was particularly special to see the entire Wiltshire team looking so professional in matching tops — the team photo certainly looked very sharp!
Throughout the day, both the boys and girls put in strong performances. The boys grew in confidence as the matches went on, learning quickly how to manage their emotions on court, while the girls put in consistently solid performances, delivering great results.
Neil and I were really impressed to see Wiltshire stepping up and delivering such a strong all-round performance. Once again we were “punching above our weight”!

- Boys: 4th place
- Girls: 2nd place
Well done to all players for representing Wiltshire with such pride and spirit!
