Wiltshire Tennis are delighted to be offering the below qualification and CPD opportunity to all coaches, venues and volunteers.
Wiltshire Tennis have teamed up with New College Swindon to provide regulated and funded qualifications in different subject areas that will expand your knowledge, enhance your delivery/business and provide a different CPD offer. All of these qualifications are available to venue volunteers and coaches. Coaches can claim LTA CPD points.
These qualifications are delivered through an online portal and learners complete the work in their own time at home. They take approximately 7-12 hours to complete and learners will have access to tutor guidance and support throughout their course.
In a collaboration with WimX Learning these courses are offered for FREE for those that meet the following criteria:
- Live within 60 miles (as the crow flies) of Swindon
- Be 19yrs or older on August 31st 2023
- Have lived in England for the past 3 years

The Courses available are below:
Level 2 Digital Promotion for Business – This qualification will help you to develop your understanding of how to promote a business in a digital age. This would be useful if you want to improve your own digital promotion for your own business, club or sports group or as a foundation for further learning in subjects such as marketing, business, ITC or media. Level 2 Understanding Climate Change and Environmental Awareness – This qualification is designed to provide you with an introduction to the principles of climate change and environmental awareness both in your personal and work life. Click here
Level 2 Mental Health First Aid – Mental Health First aid is fast becoming a requirement in many workplaces and industries just like First Aid is now and it is of course, very pertinent in today’s world. This qualification will give you the skills to recognise and support people with mental health problems. Click here
Level 2 Understanding Specific Learning Difficulties – Around 15% of people have a learning difficulty, which means they can find it harder to learn certain skills. this qualification will give you the knowledge of different Specific Learning Difficulties, including autism, ADHD, and dyslexia. It’s great for people working in a variety of sectors, such as healthcare, social care, education and sport. Click here
