Chippenham Deaf Students get expert Tennis Coaching

This term Sheldon Secondary School deaf and hard of hearing students began taking tennis lessons at Chippenham Tennis Club.

They have all enjoyed learning the basics of tennis and developing their skills both on the outside courts and in the dome as well as spending time with each other outside of normal school.

This partnership will continue in 2024 with more lessons and this programme is funded by Wiltshire Tennis and the Lawn Tennis Association through the Open Court Programme. Thank you to Chippenham TC coach, Pete Evans, and his team of volunteers for their support with this partnership.
